After One and Half Years, The Nokia Lumia 1520 is Still Going Strong

After one and half years of its launch, the Nokia Lumia 1520 is still going strong in UK market.

The large size smart phone which in essence was a phablet was the outcome of the time when Nokia mobile sector was acquired by Microsoft and the two partners were in a honeymooning period. That was also the time when Nokia was coming up with new Windows smart phones like Best Buy Lumia 535, Best Buy Lumia 635 and one after another. The Nokia Lumia 1520 is the product of that time.

It does not mean that Nokia Lumia 1520 lost its charm and attraction due to recent drifting apart of the American company from its Philippines based partner. The phone is still quite popular among the buyer’s circles in United Kingdom.

When the Nokia Lumia 1520 hit the market it gave the impression that the Windows Phone is getting better and bigger. It was the latest and biggest at that time ever produced by either Nokia or Microsoft or the two companies together. With a 6 inch screen it turned out to be the flagship smart phone of Nokia Microsoft combination.

In essence; the handset was an intelligent combination of the features offered by smart phones and tablets. The only drawback for the buyers was that when it first appeared it was expensive compared to other products of |Microsoft Nokia. But after sometimes there was a price slash affected by Microsoft that help boost the popularity of the phablet smart phone.

With excellent designs, high levels of performance, considerably good battery life and smart camera features, the Nokia Lumia 1520 certainly became one of the best that hit the UK market towards late 2013 and its popularity continues unabated in 2014 and 2015 as well. Good looking screen coupled with nice display features made it one of the favourites of buyers in UK.
