Microsoft has always been taking care of the user’s point of view and problems related to certain device or application being launched. Walking on the same line, this time it has gone for new version of WhatsApp – the most popular chatting platform application being used by over 1 billion people round the world daily.
Soon after the release of 2.16.62 Beta version of WhatsApp, another version 2.16.64 was being released. This shows that the earlier version did not have many bugs and if it had any, they are now being fixed by the developers.
This latest update of the app is still in STABLE phase and has got a new user interface. Some of the changes which could be seen relate to Icon calls, sending documents and preview links. It is also rumoured that the new version will have video calling facility too, which has been seen only in iOS WhatsApp Beta version. (It is also in air that this feature will be available in Windows, Android and iOS phones).
There could be some design changes as well, which can be assumed to be on demand of users, as the insiders keep working on user’s demands and problem rectification. As we already stated that it was launched soon after the old version’s release, we assume that most of the updates added now must have already been seen in the older version.
Since the new version is still in STABLE phase, you need to open the Windows store, search for WhatsApp 2.16.64 and then download it, in order to install it. This new version of WhatsApp for Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 devices is presumed to gain better user confidence and reliability in Windows phones. Though Microsoft had not done well in the phone industry with Lumia, but this time with Windows 10 it has its fingers crossed.
