More than a millions are now running the latest Windows 10 operating system. The revelation came from ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley while addressing the latest episode of Windows Weekly podcast. Citing some unconfirmed sources, she also disclosed that the operating system is now powering more than 180 million PCs and approximately 18 million Xbox Ones.
This news comes just a few days after Microsoft announced that over 200 million monthly active devices are now running on Windows 10 worldwide. The Washington-based company, Redmond, however, did not reveal the total breakdown of those devices.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Net Applications, a market research firm, reveals that, now, Windows 10 claims approximately 10% share of desktop Operating System market. This OS was launched less than 5 months back.
