Windows phones from Microsoft have always been regarded as the lesser cousin of Android and iOS models. Even with the best design and framework, windows could never attain the top slot among Smartphone buyers.
Things however are slowly changing and Microsoft in an attempt to owe a considerable section of buyers is concentrating on building new models, which are destined to be sleeker and more user friendly. If reports are to be believed then Microsoft would soon launch three new models for different types of buyers.
The first one would be a budget model, meant for everyday users. The second one would be more premium and would appeal to people with more disposable income and richer taste. The third one would cater to enterprise level people.
If reports are to be believed then all the three phones would run on Continuum Like Best Buy Lumia 950 and Best Buy Lumia 950 XL, which changes any Lumia handset to a full desktop screen with the help of a display dock. The feature currently works on high end Lumia models and has not seen many takers since its launch.
Coming to technical details, we are still not very sure about the specific details; however as per industry experts these phones would be powered by Intel’s x86 processor, which are capable of supporting desktop applications. The storage capacity would stand somewhere around 512 GB along with 8 GB of Ram, which would add a whole new dimension to these models.
All these features would undoubtedly make the phone quite expensive and given the struggling sales figure of leading manufacturers like Samsung and Apple, it remains to be seen how much these models manage to make a mark in the market.
